Perhaps they are waiting to manufacture the badge and take stock G10 and insert it after purchases are made plus a percentage more to cover late buyers?

I have not seen anywhere (Perhaps I missed it) where there is a delivery date after purchase.

Seems to me they would already have all the S90 blades made and the basic G-10 Handles etc... all that is left is the side badge and engraving.

Letting my imagination roam this is what I come up with.

All G10 basic black slabs are already manufactured.

All S90V blades already manufactured probably quite a few of these left over from other runs. Awaiting engraving based on purchases.

All liners compression locks, hardware etc.. already manufactured.

Speculative amount of Oval Inserts lets say between 600 & 1200 based on prior runs of forum knives to be conservative already manufactured, awaiting installation based on purchases.

Insert other factors Popularity of the Paramilitary 2, Speculative buyers buying one for use, one as a safe queen or to hock on eBay at a huge markup.

So I would say there have already been an allocation of 1,200 units but it may reach as high as 2,000 to 2,500 units before it is all said and done.

The scales were more gray than black on the one displayed at Blade Show.

Probably 1200 and I think it will sell out pretty fast.

I dont think some think these will sell out fast, personally. Not much hype behind this one, not even a thread on bf...

Today is the day!

My calendar just reminded me about this. I haven't bought a para 2 since the light grey CTS-20CP so it's time for a new one.

1 or 2, that is the question.

The final run totaled just over 700. All knives are ready to ship and SFO will process/ship orders as received. The G-10 is definitely gray - it's one of those colors that is difficult to photograph.
