Appear to still be available
https://www.spyderco.com/catalog/detail ... S90V2/1151
Thanks .... I got all the way through to checkout only to find that there is no option for payment via PayPal :(
I don't believe PayPal has ever been an option. They don't accept Discover or AMEX either.
I am new here so I wouldn't know ....I am very wary of sharing my credit card details online or even over the phone....most online retailers I use take PayPal...the only one not to is Amazon

Spyderco is completely safe and above board.

Nothing is completely safe ...I got my email hacked last week ..... is there a page on here to show definitively that the Forum PM2 is still available? I did read somewhere that it sold out in 3 mins

Sounds like your PC security is lacking.... NEVER had that problem personally....

However yes the Forum knife is available.

You can call Spyderco also and order over the phone.

Of Course nothing is completely safe but you can trust Spyderco.

Besides that your credit card company will protect you better than Pay Pal.

At any rate call them they may even let you send them a check.

I have purchased 2 forum knives from Spyderco without issue and sent one older knife in for there free sharpening and clean up spa treatment. No problems either time they are completely the kind of company we all would like to do business with.

Most of my credit cards offer the free service to generate a one-time use credit card number for ordering online. So you use the new number once to order your stuff and then it doesn't matter if it gets hacked/stolen, as it can't be used again.

As with anything in life, at some point you have to take the plunge and the potential risks that come with it. I don't get why paying with a credit card to the store that is owned and operated by Spyderco is giving you pause.

If not offering PayPal is a dealbreaker for you, buy one off ebay. It's not like you don't have options...

Seems to be. I’m glad I don’t worry so much. My Credit Card company has been awesome at fraud protection and it hasn’t cost or hurt me at all.

There is not much on eBay for sale .... I am in the UK so the sale of knives is banned on UK eBay so I would have to buy from Europe or international .... over here there are no walk in stores that sell spyderco so I have to buy everything online ... Paypal is my safest choice at the moment

So you think they would take your money and not send you a knife? Or maybe TazKristi is going to use your CC number at walmart?

Nope ... I’m not saying anyone is going to take my money on here and not send me the goods .... I had one of my email accounts hacked last week so now I am dubious to use my credit card online

I know the feeling. I've had my credit card info stolen before. Thankfully the CC company was very helpful and I got it straightened out in no time.

I will echo though, that I think your best bet would be to do it over the phone with Spyderco. I've never had any problems.

Hope you can get ahold of the knife you want!
