Kristi: I hope this is fixable retroactive.. I couldn't type in the code, well i could, but it emptied cart and/or threw me out so i ended up trying to finish order without code, that worked, but i'd really like to get the discount since it wasn't my fault?
It is fixable, but since I'm not in SFO or in their system I can't fix it for you. I've e-mailed SFO and asked them to take care of it for you but in the future, it's definitely best to reach out to them directly (I don't always see every post on the forum).

I'm sorry you had issues with the process. We tested the code and all was well. Pair that with the 150+ orders through the site and I'd have to guess that your experience was isolated. We'll make it right. *EDITED to add: SFO confirmed that they will issue a credit back to your card for the amount that would have been discounted with the code.

How many of you who purchased received a shipping notice? I have not yet, but someone posted earlier that they had.

These inlays are 100 times better in person. Had to come up to SFO to see it for myself before pulling the trigger. Those of you who dont have that luxury: Do it!

I was having a little buyer's remorse after ordering yesterday. This makes me feel a little better. :)

I sent you a PM a while ago. Did you ever get the package I sent?

No problem at all. They turned out great imo! Gonna throw some additional pics up in the other thread.

Yes I did! I have had a crazy busy week at work (still going in fact) and limited time to squeeze in :spyder: happenings. I should have a moment to catch up tomorrow while being sad during the Broncos game  ;)

I want to give a big shout out to Candi Powell at the SFO. I was having difficulty with my password/log in so she just did a phone order for the knife and later straightened out my password problem. Looking forward to this one! :)
Glad you got one mate :)

Dear Sal & Eric,
I would love to know the history and origin story of this years forum knife. Looking over the past releases this one stands out bold and unique.

The choice of steel alone is a story I am certain.

Please do share.

Thank you very much.

Agree 100%. Inlay with logo was a nice touch.

I'm a bit surprised too. I guess the lack of (BHQ style) hype and perhaps the slightly higher cost and maybe the inlay.
I ordered one.

The enlay is the jewel in the crown in my opinion, I would not have purchased two let alone one without the inlay.

Did you guys get a confirmation email? My card was charged Friday but it seems like I should have gotten a receipt email or something. I checked my email is good. Cant remember if I got one on the last order from SFO.

Yes I did with tracking but I was one of the very first to order within minutes of it becoming available. Check spam mail.

Would not be surprised if people start getting confirmation Monday or Tuesday.

One thing I am learning is Spyderco is a real stand up kind of company.

Still available, obviously, because I just received my confirmation notice. I was going to pass on this, but the above pic nudged me to check on availability so I placed my order just minutes ago. I did my part to help deplete the stock. Nice knife!

Received mine this morning. They are very nice! The inlay is much better in person. As stated above, if you are on the fence, go for it.
