Another color comparison shot. I think the Delicas black liners darken up the red nicely.

That's crazy! Those flippers need to not be so greedy all at once. Geeez, give them a couple weeks.

What puzzles me, is that these exclusives as of late are selling for more than sprint runs. This red para3 is fetching more than the rex45 right now. Buyers are even paying more for the REC para3 than a Darn Dao! It’s crazy. Is it just because the runs are smaller batches?

Exclusives prices are set by the dealer which commissioned the run and they pay up front for the whole lot, while spyderco sets the sprint prices. Both sprints and exclusives are not bound my MAP pricing rules

My fault, I should’ve said I was referring to the secondary market. I’m just puzzled what makes them command such high prices when compared to other sprints, and even the flash batches. On the secondary market that is.

The only thing I can think of is the st nicks and rivers edge para 3's both were smaller runs than 1200 maybe?

I think I saw somewhere that St Nicks was only about a 520 piece run? Will certainly pay off for the flippers, especially being the first Spyderco released in 4V.

Here she is...absolutely flawless. My new instant favorite. Thanks again to everyone at St. Nicks for creating this amazing knife in an underappreciated steel and making sure your website was able to handle the inevitable feeding frenzy! :)

I really hope they do what BHQ is doing with Jade/M4 and run through the whole lineup in this combo. Maybe adding a stonewash option so doing half DLC and half stonewash in each model like BHQ has done for some.

I still wish spyderco could come up with a good solution to get the liners DLC coated on compression lock knives. It would look much better than the mix of stainless and DLC hardware. Especially on the semi-translucent G10 colors like Red and Jade. :(

Nice, you got one! I figured you would be all over this one. If they do a PM2 in this configuration I’m going to be in n hog heaven:) did you end up finding a Bladehq dlc Para 3?

Yep, I grabbed a few extras through trades as well! :) Not yet on the DLC M4 Para 3, I still need to track one down.

I would imagine a PM2 in this combo will be coming at some point. Any half way decent PM2 or Para 3 exclusive is essentially printing money for dealers. I'm hoping to see this combo in all of the Golden models at some point, even (especially) the LW models.

Stay tuned! I'd be really surprised if they didn't do a run of PM2s. I'm pretty sure it's only a matter of when.

I was thrilled that they did a “1 per order” at checkout so we could have a sec to grab one of the Para 3s.

They have stated on their Instagram page (in comments) that a PM2 is coming, but I don’t think we can expect it any time soon from the way they worded it.

I'm starting to think the St Nick Para 3 is the best looking or at least in the top 2 Para 3s so far. This would be my other choice.

I concur. The red and black is a great look but the desert tan/OD green is timeless IMO.
