I will say if you are gonna use the knife it’s a great user. I put it into service this morning several times while loading cattle to take to the sale.

Pictures man!! Some among us might not make it as long as shipping takes without a few shots of one "in the wild" to tide us over. :D

Of course I missed this! How long did it take to sell out? Any idea if they will release more?
When I spoke to them they said it depended on how the sale went as the Delica did not sell as well as they thought it would when they first introduced it. If they just sold 600 knives in under 50 minutes my guess would be yes.
Us Para 3-aholics are more prevalent than Delica fans that's for sure.
I know this was just a comment, but really the Delica has a HUGE following right? I think the fact that the Para 3 cost ~$30 more than a standard Para 3, but the Delica cost over twice a standard Delica, is probably a big reason. When I picked up my REC Para 3, it was a no brainer, because again it was like $30 more than a standard.

Actually only $18 more than MAP for a DLC version in S30V

Really, comparing a G10 Delica to an FRN version isn't at all fair and it's been a while since there was a regular production Delica in G10 so pricing is substantially different now, making it tough to estimate accurately (glad they kept the D'fly G10!), probably fairer to compare to the KC pakka wood exclusive, plus the cost of TiCN treatment (about $165?).

And yes there are *many* Delica fans out there! Almost certainly more than Para 3 devotees, at least for now...

Just like to point out, that I refreshed the page for the para 3 and there was 1 in stock. I purchased it, but I imagine that as orders get declined, there may be a few stragglers available? Keep a lookout!

That would suck to get an order declined. Is it because people’s credit cards didn’t go through or because they over sold the knife?

I was looking for a special knife to get my father in law, and I was days away from getting him the Native 5, but this Para 3 is soo awesome I think I’m going to have to give it to him.
I wish I had a son in law like you. :)
Can you find it and can it cut?

After I held the first one, I was an addict. I think this one is one of the best looking ones.
For now. Hoping knifeworks will do one in grey and black with 52100 like their manix. That would be killer.

+1! x1,000,000! That grey/DLC 52100 combo needs to be done in the Para 3, Military, and Native.

I'm guessing a combo of both. It's possible whatever they use to track inventory might not keep up with orders going out.

And, it looks like there might be one more available soon. I just emailed them about cancelling my order. Here's hoping one of you gets their hands on it!

I snagged one after sleeping on many of the recent exclusives, 4V and the red/black combo is right up my alley.

Awesome!

it definitely looks better in a real world setting than in a light box.

Thanks!

I don't see this huge Delica following that you speak of. I'm pretty active in this forum as well as a few others and I don't see the Delica getting nearly as much love as the Para 3.

I think when I get mine I'll just sit and look at it for a while. Maybe carry it when I go out to dinner but I doubt I'll be throwing it in the EDC rotation right away. As of now USPS says I'll get it on Monday. :D
