Another great PM2 from DLT,,, two days shipping to CT.

Over the past 2-3 years, Spyderco has issued first class quality control on their knives.
Perfect centering and flawless appearance.
This PM2 was slightly slow for free fall closing,,,, a very slight tweek on pivot screw and now perfect.

DLT charged $21,17 for FedEx. It's a bit more than I would like to pay, but then again it's going to arrive here in Germany already on Monday! Probably will have to pay the tax directly upon delivery, but that's cool, too.

Love the pics of the tan g10, can't wait to see it in person!!
Shipping to Australia was US$28 for FedEx Priority and US$48 for USPS Priority International. Right about what USPS is as I know that one for sure. I think their shipping very fair. Next time ill use FedEX.... yes I used USPS, as it was a case of better the devil I know.

Centering good on mine.

I'd imagine that some flippers are doing it help offset the cost of the hobby. Buy two, one to keep, one to mark up and resell to someone who's willing/able to shell out.

Centering on mine was off, but as soon as I loosened a screw nearest the lanyard hole, it was all better!

And a color comparison too. Ivory, desert tan, and coyote brown.

Unfortunately, both are the identically off-center toward the show side. I wonder if QC was lower for this model or if I just had bum luck.
I can't imagine they'd change their QC standards for any reason.
Well I doubt it happens intentionally, but it happens. I've seen entire runs of knives with blades ground a little off in the same way for example. With the PM2, it's probably more likely that the scales or liners are flexing just slightly one way or the other. Any way, I don't mean to alarm anyone. It isn't bad at all, I'm just curious to see how centering is for you guys when they start showing up.
Mine just got here, and it looks perfect. Frankly I don't worry even if a knife isn't perfectly centered. As long as it isn't scraping the liners or making me worry and lose sleep about it scraping the liners, I am good to go.

But no, I don't think Spyderco is getting sloppy or anything like that. Try a little fiddling and see if you can get it centered.

Seems plenty sharp, and if I warm it up, it cuts like a hot knife through butter when I butter my toast using it.

Centering is off on mine, and it also has a little play. Drops free but I would like to tighten the pivot a bit. Definitely enough loctite. ..haha.
So it goes.

I retrieved mine from the mailbox after I got home from work. Mine's great! I don't usually like light colored scales but I really like this one. I'm glad I decided to go for it.

Mine is excellent. It's the first Spyderco I have purchased that will free fall 100%. Might have to tighten it. Love the color and DLT's shipping was top notch.

Mine come tomorrow. I gotta say, the Rex45 I received a few months ago was the finest example of a pm2 I've ever had. Perfect centering, as freefalling as can be, and 100% no blade play. Like none, which never happens.
