With how light it is, it should be easy to Rit dye for those who don't like the color, I plan on grabbing one if my work schedule allows.

20CV, M390, and 204P are all extremely similar steels if you have any experience with the latter two.

I’m going to mildly try and get this one, mostly because I’ve lost interest in the ridiculousness of sprints. If I waste 5 hours refreshing web pages in hopes of getting the knife...that’s about $1,000 worth of lost income, not to mention the added frustration of not getting one and seeing it on fleabay for $300.

I was lucky enough to get the green 204 Military this year, I’ll just have to be happy with that.

Edit: who am I kidding, eyes peeled on the computer until I score one.

I am not positive but it sounds like Bohler may have the more refined processing of the three with possible finer grain.

In the end heat treatment and edge geometry will make a bigger difference than steel differences though.
I think Carpenter has the finest grain. But yes, heat treat and geometry will be the important factors to differentiate them.

Not really that clever at all:) In the great US of A, I could be an electrician, plumber, pharmacist, financial advisor... and easily earn that basic income. All you have to do is not suck at life and try hard. But yea, if someone has a drug or drinking problem of some sort, $200 an hour is not really an option.

Yeah, aside from surgeons, CEOs, psychics and drug dealers, $200US/hr. seems like a pretty amazing wage.

Yea, that’s pretty normal. $200 an hour billable rate. Computer programming, biohazard technician, underwater welder, headhunter...the list goes on and on and on.

I make $1000 in one hour and spend the rest of my day chasing sprints and looking for deals on knives.

How do I make my millions you ask? I am a knife flipper. I'll be picking up a couple hundred of these Para2s when they drop.

You guys need to quit drinkin' and druggin' and get it together.

Seriously though, what is up with this forum lately?

Would love to try some 20CV, but my M390's work great, don't think I would notice much of a difference.

@BFK: It is Saturday night. :)
Don't drink much, but just put down some Dickel 12yr.
