I have two Tenacious but not the black blades. Your's looks correct.
The Tenacious is a Value Line knife and is priced so inexpensively
it seems unlikely anyone would go to the trouble of making a counterfeit.
This one has custom scales but you can see the blade steel etching clearly matches yours.

I never had a Tenacious, but I'm looking at pics of the Tenacious with a black blade, and you're right about the Spider. They all have that open triangle in the head area. Looks fake to me. Was the design of the spider in the older Tenacious years different?

Its a fake. The jimping is not correct, and the real Tenacious uses flat instead of dome-headed scale screws. Ive seen this fake at our local flea markets.

A cheap Chinese knockoff of an inexpensive Chinese folder. Wild stuff. I guess this is why they dsay you can never win a race to the bottom.

Wow! A fake Tenacious. The Spyder looks different, and the blade has a silver bushing, and rounded grip screws.
