that Spyderco chose CPM REX45 over CPM REX54. lol!

But seriously, the entire REX family of alloys looks very promising, as they're all modifications of CPM M4.

I do like many of Crucible's and Carpenter's great blade steels. But at this present time I really love Bohler Udderholm sure has some great steel as well.

They seem similar. Maybe we will see both?

What about CPM Rex T15? That’s a lot of tungsten!

I am saddened that the Native and Native LW were not included in this sprint run. Hopefully the insane feeding frenzy we are seeing for these Rex 45 knives will lead to more models in this steel.

interesting, it looks like sort of a Maxamet lite.

But I can't get behind it, 15 isn't 54!

Based on insider information, I think the next run will be a CPM REX 2233 Trilithium/Dilithium hybrid blend. Preliminary tests show a possible HRC above 70 on non-heat treated samples. I wanted to post the news link but suddenly there has been a total blackout on this amazing find.

Spyderco Officials did not respond.
Can you find it and can it cut?
