It's a cute little wharnie but the price was a deal breaker for many of us. I am quite sure that a nice coloured frn one would sell like hot cakes though :)

Would it not compete too much with the Delica Wharncliffe?

Different lock and different ergos. I only wish more spydies had a BBL....it's a superior lock in my book.

I mean, I'd buy it, for sure. Just wondering if other people would. I've been looking for a good used deal on one. The price is just too high for it for what I could get otherwise. It still looks great though.

It doesn't seem like the Q Ball is a hot enough seller for Spyderco to justify the expense of creating the FRN molds to make a LW version.

It was the price and lack of a sprint. I still really like the design. Spyderco isn't in the habit of moving production to different factories, but I really wish they'd make this model in Golden with colored G-10 and a high end steel. I'd be in for an frn version too.

The Q Ball is likely to end up discontinued and at a discount. I'm waiting.
