I don't mean to offend anyone, but couple of knives I don't get - C104 Kris and C40G Jot Singh Khalsa.

I know, if you don't have anything nice to say... I am pretty good about biting my tongue, but these two are the strangest :spyder: I have ever seen.

Eh I'm not hip on the looks of the Shempp Bowie, the Dyad, or the P'Kal. Then again, I want to add each to the collection.

Years ago I didnt understand why the PM2 was the 'go to' knife for so many people (even though I had a bunch of other Spyderco knives) and didnt much care for the way it looked ... then I got one and it was like an epiphany :)

I totally get it and now its one of my most often used Spyderco knives. I even think it looks great now. A good user knife tends to have that effect IMO.

Ive been absorbed into the PM2 collective, resistance is futile.

I think Spydercos are very tactical, but I'm always looking for more. How are they tactical? Every knife that I bought from Spyderco was bought with tactical use in mind...
The word “tactical” is so overused as to have lost meaning. It seems it’s used now when the writer can’t think of another word. I’d like to see it dropped from our lexicon. Spydercos are without a doubt tactile, ergonomic, function first, and often graceful or funky.

In your case you have a tactical USE in mind, perhaps tied to your employment. I’ll let you have it.

I dislike the look of these knives so much that I keep spending a couple hundred dollars every month or so on new ones...man, so ugly.

Sometimes...
Every time I look at the catalog I am convinced more and more that Spyderco makes fantastic models with steels that I detest and models that I detest with fantastic steels.

I've found that as my sense of knife aesthetics has incorporated a deeper understanding of functionality, my tastes have changed in favor of Spyderco.

This is Yori, slayer of cats. She doesn't like Spydercos, but she has been known to lick them.

What you wrote above mirrors my own experience, in terms of my introduction to the PM2, and also explains why I now have 40 of them.

Bloke should share a pic of his pet troll.
