Seki Japan Made Wish List?

We have a Golden made wish list, so I figure we need a Seki one as well.

1. I know there is a lot of debate around the viability of G10 models coming out of Seki due to higher costs. I get that, but maybe there is enough interest for them to go out with a bang, especially if paired with a good new steel. I would say maybe discontinue the current G10 DF2 and Stretch, and do a final sprint run of G10 Enduras, Delicas, Stretches, Dragonflies, and maybe Jestors. I would do it as a "family" with the same steel and G10 color. Id go with Blurple G10 (or maybe a transparent dark forest green) and a Solid SRS-15 blade. Id do black TiCN coated blades and hardware on half of the run. I love my new G10 Delica and would hate to see the G10 models come to an end.

2. I would like some blacked out DF2 Salts (big time want of mine)

3. Is solid Hap40 possible? If so, lets see some

4. A Pacific Salt XL in H1 SE

5. SRS-15 (preferably solid) in a Sprint of the FRN models as well



Anyone like any of these ideas? What would you like to see come out of Seki next??

I can't really think of any seki models that I am currently interested in. I've tried almost all of them. The FRN models are great but I just don't carry them anymore. I would love to see the rumored kitchen knife set that has been discussed and a hap40 k12p would be awesome

...oh..wait...I do kinda have a general wish that Spyderco would stop killing my bank account with all these new models, sprints, and exclusives they keep coming up with. Ok...I'm not actually serious but a short reprieve would be nice. :)

I’d like to see a Pacific Salt with the Endura 4 handle shape. I don’t have a preference between the handle texture but prefer the E4 outline to the current PS. I like the barrel bolt clip better than the 3 screw clip so it would be cool to get the updated handle but keep the current salt clip.

The Jester would be a good throwback. A serrated stretch would be sweet. Lc200n in the Seki city models. And for the frn police to come out.

Endura family with polished G10 like the Firefly had. Polished G10 does it for me.

As for steel, makers choice. The spyderco folks know best. My preference is a working steel that would be good for camp/hiking/whittling.

A DF2 and a Delica/Salt 2 in PE LC200N would be fantastic, preferably bright red scales to keep the high visibility in water and to distinguish them from the bright yellow H-1 versions.
