Hello All, new member with an idea that I wanted to share. A home made sharpener to hold stones at varies angles.
I use the Sharpmaker daily, but wanted something more aggressive for re-profiling. It works well for my needs.

Yes, I looked at the diamond rods, but they seemed too course for what I wanted. Here are a couple of more photos that didn't upload on the original post.

I've been daydreaming about something like this ever since I got the Sharpmaker. It wouldn't be very hard to design a simple adjustable base with set screws that lock the stones at any angle.
