Hi guys, I used to have a login years ago but quit hanging out and the account got deleted at some point. Doc Snubnose stands out as the person whose posts I enjoyed most.
My first Spyderco was a 14th birthday gift and at the time I didn't realize how special that knife is. It was a Persian and I still have it in my drawer. It developed a bit of rust around the pivot so I keep it really oiled and I baby it now.
I've carried a wave Endura after the Persian and a PM2 after the Endura. I've also carried Cold Steels and Benchmades but I keep a Spyderco with me 99% of the time. I actually had to use the Endura in a self defense situation with an aggressive dog that attacked me. I also grew up in the Netherlands and Spyderco is huge there. I started Krav Maga classes when I was 12 and we all carried Spydies.
I've lived in NM for over a decade now and I hope to visit the Golden Outlet sometime. But for now I'd rather spend my money on their products.

I've been around since the old days. Mind sharing what your old handle was for those of us who might remember you?
