factory grind

My Endura came with a factory grind too obtuse for the Sharpmaker at 30°. I reprofiled with the Lansky and got a more acute bevel to allow a nice secondary bevel at the Sharpmaker 30° setting. Might it be better for Spyderco to default to the more acute angle? Those who favor 40° can readily get that angle and the 30° contingent does not have to reprofile.
