Thanks, Mike! Your experience and wisdom shows. The argument and the semantics are not why I started this discussion; I was simply interested in what other Spyderco fans thought. It's pretty amazing to be able to have a dialogue with the designer of the knife in my pocket right now. For that, I think Spyderco is pretty unique and special.

I’m in for one if they do ?? I know for fact that Serration’s are great for cutting fiberous material, like clothing and in conjunction with that Extreme Tip would be **** on the Body. Mike is the man !! Thank you for the design Brother

This discussion is excellent! I love reading what Mr Janich has to say abt self defense!!! Pretty heady stuff to a guy like me that is in awe of people of this caliber.

I need to save my pennies for the next few months. I have an idea. I'm going to buy two more Yojimbo 2s and send them out to Mr Veff for serrations. I think this is a great idea!
