Although post #1 says "the 2018 Forum Knife will be released sometime in July 2018" it also says that once you sign up at https://www.spyderco.com/forumknife/ " one week before the knife is released you will receive an e-mail with the exact date and time it will be available for purchase."

MSRP is $269.95 and we get 40% off, via a discount code to be shared here, so it comes to $161.97. In the past, orders of $150+ were shipped free but that may not be the case anymore since it says "standard shipping rates will apply".

I’m very excited for the forum PM2! Just signed up for the forum today....after lurking for about 6 months:) I made the mistake of getting the blurpul PM2...now I’m sooo hooked on the knives. I’ve purchased 4 in the last two months. My favorite so far is the Para 3 in natural G10...what a sweet knife!!

that red/white/back design/inlay reminds me of some clones for some reason... don't like it much

It does look a little gaudy, but I'm hoping it's just because they photoshopped the design onto a regular black g10 PM2 and it looks better in person.

Come on! Lets do this! I believe this is the first pm2 s90v since the cf sprint. I hope it is 60-61 hrc.

I agree, but I like it. It's drastically different from the production knives and sprints, which makes it special. It also reminds me of old special runs Spyderco did of other knives. It will age well.

I wish the metal webbing was less shiny.

Can we get a ballpark on when this will actually drop? Will it realistically be this month? This year?

Back when I signed up to get in line for this release, I had just come into the understanding of how great of a design the PM2 is, and I really love S90V, seemed like a no brainer to get in line. Now that I am understanding why the PM2 is the perfect knife, I will be stepping out of line, even if it means giving up the chance to have a S90V version. The totality of the PM2 is it's simplicity, which is somewhat lessened being branded/decorated, I hope there are no plans to further decorate the worlds perfect knife.

If the decorated design concept is too much,,, just replace the scales.

Well, only 2 months or so past the projected drop date. Spyderco has some excellent sales tactics, they play on the emotions of us who stalk the mailman.
