. It's a great work knife, I would definitely recommend one.

Search for the thread 'ok it's time to get serious' if you want to know the inside story of how the wharncliffe delica came to be.
Thanks. I will probably check that one I saw out if I go there Friday... I did like the way it handled even if it looked weird.

BTW having a Spyderco dealer in your area is like living near a paycheck black hole...

Ha. I'll bet. I'd still like one where I live though. It would be nice to handle before I buy.

Well it's still like a 40 min drive, but I love being able to check em out in person, youtube videos can't tell you how something feels...

Opening up a package... A NEW KNIFE!

Unfortunately it was a Protech TR-5. I would rather be opening up a Spyderco Embassy package but they do not make auto's anymore. So far I am really happy with the TR-5. It melts into the pocket and is a great EDC size.

Cutting back some saplings near the firespot at our campsite with my SE Salt 2...becoming a bigger and bigger SE fan by the day since I've got this knife! Pull cuts are ridiculously easy with this thing. Even the wife is impressed with how quickly I cleared out some space with this little guy. Can't wait to post up some of my amazing pics from this weekend!

Anyone that's big into camping with a travel trailer/RV and is ever in the upstate New York area...you MUST check out Association Island (go ahead and Google :)) This is the most beautiful scenery I've ever camped at.

Ouch! Sounds very painful. I hope it heals up soon for you. At least it didn't hit any tendons or ligaments; that could have been really bad.

I brutally stabbed the trees in my front yard. Luckily my shrubbery can testify I was never there.
Can you find it and can it cut?
