Now there's a use for it I've never thought of before!
I had a blueish hue on my Delica Pakkawood after cutting up some lemons and intentionally leaving the blade saturated in the juice for an hour or so.ZrowsN1s wrote: ↑Wed Jul 04, 2018 11:59 amI cut up some steaks and chopped some garlic with my M4 native, I wanted to see what kind of a patina I could get. Ultimately it didn't turn out the way I wanted and there were some spots that were a little 'red' for my liking so I hit it with some flitz and it's good as new. I've never really forced a patina on a blade before, but I may go that way with this one. What will give it a nice blue patina?
Not really seeing any blues / patina on my M4 PM2.ZrowsN1s wrote: ↑Wed Jul 04, 2018 11:59 amI cut up some steaks and chopped some garlic with my M4 native, I wanted to see what kind of a patina I could get. I've always been fond of the "stab your knife balls deep into a mango and let it sit overnight" method. Never tried it with M4...here is an A2 blade I did earlier this year:ZrowsN1s wrote: ↑Wed Jul 04, 2018 11:59 amI cut up some steaks and chopped some garlic with my M4 native, I wanted to see what kind of a patina I could get.
