The other issue you may run into with Micarta handle and 20CV / M390 / 204P blade is that outside of Spyderco brand loyalists, Knifeworks has a Benchmade Griptilian exclusive in black paper micarta with M390 blade that they're selling for $170. As you know, that's a bit less than MAP on the S30V blade Shaman, so that would be tough competition.

It's out of stock...so no worries there. Lol. :D But I'd still take the Cruwear/Micarta over anything.
It's out of stock until they get another run, but not discontinued. I'd buy Cruwear or Maxamet in a linerless knife like a Native 5 LW just to play with, but with my corrosive sweat I'm not buying something like a Shaman as a carry knife in any carbon steel.

Hahahaha. I'll definitely buy double what you said. And if some how, some way, they decide to go with 3V or 4V instead of Cruwear, i'll buy double what HE said. :D

I wonder how long we are going to have to wait for this one? I assume 2019 at the earliest?

Probably.

So interesting that 3v has twice the votes of 10v! How often does THAT happen? Ignoring all the votes for cruwear, that alone tells me how badly people want something like cruwear in this model.

It is a toss-up between Cruwear and M4 for me. Really though, all of the steels listed are pretty darn cool.

Yeah, this model is one that seems to beg for steels from the Cruwear/3V/4V/PD1 side of the spectrum. Like I said, I voted for Cruwear because it seems the likliest of these 4 steels to happen, but I would REALLY love to see 3V and 4V as well in the future, especially with Micarta scales. I think more people are seeing how great these steels are. Hoping to see the Manix backlock released in one of these steels as well.

Crushed mine too. Looks close to the Rex45 color. Coincidence?

Any chance this one might get the Rex45/burnt orange treatment too? :)

I've been thinking the same thing! After seeing the video that deadboxhero posted I have been very intrigued with this steel. I just got my Para 3 and the color on the G10 is really really nice. I can't wait to start putting this thing to work! For how nice the scales are and how awesome Rex45 seems to be, and how much crazy demand these are seeing, it would make sense to do another run in other models. I would also be very excited to see some DLC coated Rex45 with these burnt orange scales. Perhaps future runs can have half DLC and half uncoated. I'd like to see Rex45 in..
