When you want the new Native 5 exclusive...

but you crunched the numbers and realized you spent $950 on Spyderco in two months alone...

I wasn't very thrilled when I found out that the Native 5 was going linerless and back to s30v. However, after seeing this model, I think the linerless feature is actually nice on the natural g10. I am definitely going to get one of these.

Dang I really want this knife but I have $43 in my knife savings pile and that ain't going to fly. Maybe I can sell some of my others to fund purchasing this one...

Super pretty knife, I like the look of the linerless natural g10. It'll be my first non-FRN Native, should be interesting to try. Hope they make a DLC version in the future (but not too soon, my savings needs some time to recover from all the beautiful knives :spyder: )

Looking forward to it. Alert created.

I gave away my KC smooth G10 model to a friend who is getting a lot more use out of it. Already sharpened it for him once. I still have my S35VN FRN, which sees (ab)use on regular basis.

I don't understand how anyone can have just one Native
This will be number 5 for me, black n' red LC200N Never Summer Exclusive, Damasteel 40th Anniversary, Maxamet LW, S90V Fluted CF, and soon to be M4 and 'Natural' G-10 :D The native is a lot like the PM2 in the sense that there are more really nice versions of this knife than I can afford :o There are at least 4 more currently available that I'd pick up.

You gave your KC exclusive away to a friend? You're a good friend.
I'm currently at 6. It was 7 but I sold one and there's another on the bubble. I'm torn on getting this BHQ version. I really like M4 and (obviously) the Native platform. I've also wanted to try one of the new linerless G10 models. However, I already have a bunch of pre-orders in que and there are other models I "need", like the Advocate and forthcoming Swayback. Plus, I have a feeling there'll be a Cruwear Native offered in the near future. I have a reminder set for just before the M4 Native drops and I may end up getting one. Gonna keep thinking about this until Tuesday.

That would be sweet. If these three were on the buffet for credit card attack, it would be a very tough decision: plain M4, DLC m4, CruWear. :spyder:

I've somehow never bought a Native, so it's a tough call passing on a given for a maybe in the future. Decisions. #1stworldstruggles

It looks very nice--and I'm sure I'd want one if I held one, but I already have several Natives... Will probably pass on this one too.

Same here, I wanted one, but I have an s110v N5 with liners that does the trick.

I'm waiting for the Caribbean and Rhino. Dying to see the Rhino in particular. Ever since I picked up a Chinook 4(for a friend) I have been dying to see it's baby brother.

I only got one.

I think I’ll carry this one too. And not just safe it.

Good luck to everyone else.

Maybe they won’t sell out too quickly.

Ordered mine :D This little fella will be coming to work with me. I really like the "natural" g-10 handles, but I think I'd have bought an m4 native in any color. Don't get me wrong I like liners just fine, but I'm excited to try the linerless G-10 (love my linerless Fluted CF), it will be cool with the translucent scales too, and bonus... less stuff to trap dirt, dust, and moisture.

Going to pass on this one for now also. I love the Native, but don’t need another right now. Especially since I’d only be buying it to have an M4 Native. Also, still not a fan of jade g10.

Got my two! Love the Native and love the Jade/M4! Hoping they do a DLC version and I will pick up two of those as well! Keep em coming! Shaman, Lil Native, Para 3, backlock Manix etc! And maybe some lightweight Native and lightweight Manix in M4 with a Jade colored FRN (not FRCP though...)?
