I just want to reiterate how awesome this knife and I cant stress enough the need for KW to do this combo in the Military, Para 3, and Native. A Native LW and Manix LW in this combo would be must haves as well. Such a good looking color combo with an awesome steel. I wish Spyderco would have done the 52100 sprints in this combo instead of the peel ply carbon fiber.

Steelcity16, I'm with you. I love me manix 2 in this combo. It's my favorite Spydie at the moment. If they do this for the military, please make it a combo edge!

I'm not normally sold on knives by their appearance, but I have to admit that once I had this one in hand, I was smitten. It's one sharp (looking) knife. :)

You never when these will finally be sold out. If I really wanted one I think I'd buy it sooner rather than later. Stash it until Christmas if you really want it to be a present for yourself.

Steels on the these other guys aren’t 52100, but at least these give you a visual...

Yeah, this grey/black might me my favorite combo aesthetically. It looks fantastic. I hope we see more models in this combo from KC. Some Cruwear sprints in Grey G10 and DLC would be nice as well.

I couldn’t resist anymore. These are still available and it’s one of the best looking exclusives that anyone has done. Got one on the way.

I hear ya!! Just got mine a couple days ago as a surprise early Bday present from the wife. Such a great looking knife, can't believe it hasn't sold out yet.

Also a great price compared to any other Spyderco folder with this steel. Haven't been able to use it too much yet, but I love it. My 3rd Manix in the stable

i’ve always thought this was the most beautiful manix i’ve seen and it’s too bad it’s in a carbon tool steel. i need a stainless manix. i’ve had rust spots form on s30v and xhp here in hawaii, so i’m not interested in anything less stainless than those steels just for edge degradation alone. i’d go for a manix in lc200n even if it wasn’t a salt model at this point. especially if it had dlc and looked as nice as this one does.

Still in stock? Unbelievable! By far one of the best looking knives I own. And 52100 is a great steel (a carbon steel, but I wouldn't call it a tool steel). There is a lot to like in 52100 in and of itself, but in the Manix and with the whole shebang of DLC and black liners, it really looks nice.
I snapped one up when they first were announced and figured I needed to jump on it. And sometimes you do!!

Yeah, if I lived near (or in the middle of) the ocean, I might have to stick to stainless, but in my case, 52100 is the bomb.

Glad to hear, cant wait to test this steel!! Interested to see how easy it really is to get a screaming edge back on it after some use.

Yeah I agree Tucson Tom, it’s definitely one of the best looking knives I have too, to say nothing of the silky smooth action, and razor keen cutting performance.

It takes a crazy sharp edge relatively easily, yet holds that fine apex pretty well, too.

I swapped the stock ball bearing out for a ceramic one, and lightly sanded the grip on the sides of the BB cage.

I know that almost identical high level sharpness is attainable with any steel, given the right technique and abrasives, but this knife consistently ‘feels’ like it’s in my top three ‘sharpest’ Spydies.

Image
Outstanding knife, even by Spyderco standards.
