Hi KnickKnackCity,

All of the hardware is coated.

sal
Thanks Sal. I have never seen an issue with corrosion on the coated hardware out of Golden. Its good stuff.

A native 5 but rust proof...
From my perspective as a close-to-the-ocean inside waistband wearer, a Native 5 w/ rustproof blade and rust inhibited stainless internals. Just put in my preorder at KC.

Dunking the entire knife in some black rit dye might be the ticket. That's what I'll probably do if I get one of these. Depends on how much further out the Pacific Salts in LC200N are.

i like dlc. people think it looks tactical, but i like that it’s less flashy and grabs less attention and a shiny blade. it also looks great as it wears and this knife would be the perfect beater for me. at least until they make a manix 2 salt.

I agree. Plus on blades that aren't rust proof, it adds a little corrosion resistance. Ilike how DLC looks, especially with black, red or foliage green handles.

You've been saying it this whole time Steely! Hopefully all this support being shown can get us out some DLC variations ASAP.

Uncoated lock bar makes a huge difference in the looks on this one imo.

The "ghosted" bug and LC logo are pretty cool too.

It sure does, and I like it much better than the black version. Now I'm definitely sure to buy one... whenever it comes.

This is the sole new item in the current catalog to get and keep my attention. Hopefully, it will be a stock item and not a sprint. Recent unplanned purchases have depleted my fun monies.

i know what you mean. i just had to replace all four tires on my truck. $900 that won’t be going toward spydies. :(

Just a little over $800 for my truck tires, but at least two were covered by the roofers who missed the nails they left behind.
