The more I see of the Lil Native, the more excited I am at the prospect of the slipjoint version. A stout, hard use, Urban sized slippy? ... I can't wait!

Black shorty wire clip will be a first and a very welcome addition.

I just received my Lil' Native and I really like it. I prefer it over my DF2 because of G10, comp lock, and the blade shape. For me, it is a much closer race between the Lil' Native vs Chap. The Chap is definitely classier but the Lil' Native is definitely more fun.

I can't wait for some Lil' Native sprint runs.

I absolutely love it. And paired with some Pocket Armor it’s perfect.

Just wanted to provide an update after daily carry of this knife since last week of December 2017... initially I found the nub hitting my finger annoying but adjusted the pivot and where I place my finger to avoid the thwack of doom. this knife is the perfect size and weight for my daily office carry. I love the wire clip. I love that it doesn't have a lanyard hole. the compression lock is great for closing the knife quickly and quietly which is somewhat essential in an office environment like mine. this knife and the chap lw are in my opinion the best office carry knives spyderco has made to date
Maybe you should try the Urban for a while. It might rock your world. You don’t need a lock for such a compact little folder.

I had the Elmax urban, it was nice. before that I had the orange g10 urban. did not like that one. ultimately I sold them both. the Lil native is my favorite spydie currently. I carry it daily.

I am looking forward to the slip joint as well. I hope they do a liner-less G10 like they have on the new Regular Size native g10. That would all bring the weight down to make it perfect. Any idea on release date on the slip?

Actually, the Chaparral frn fulfills all of the tasks and expectations of my Dragonflies. I’ve had three and although the design and ergonomics are outstanding I think the Chaparral is a better all-around every day user knife for me. It appears from owners' opinions here that the Lil' Native is a beefier and tougher Dragonfly.

I really love all the little Spyderco, it's hard to decide on just one, but the Lil' Native is definitely a good choice.

Sí, exacto, es una Spyderco Ambitious.

I'm glad you like the collection, thanks.

Really hoping some custom scales for the lil native come out. Getting a lil tired of black g10. Would buy carbon fiber, micarta, or polished g10 scales in an instant

So, I’m thinking (which often costs me money when Spyderco Knives are the topic) about why in the world I would ever need a Lil’ Native after getting my Chaparral FRN. The Chap has such a light, thin refined shape and blade, why would I need a small, rather chunky knife too. Then it came to me. An ephipany! Lil’ Native with a Spyder Edge blade. A heavy-duty Chaparral-sized knife to rip through those tough jobs my little Chap might shy away from.

Makes sense, right?
