St. Nick's Exclusive Delica with DLC Coated HAP40/SUS410 and Red G-10 is $189.00 and the BladeHQ Exclusive Para3 with DLC Coated CPM-M4 and Natural G-10 is $154.95. No contest in price at a $34 difference and the lower priced one gets you the better steel!

Red g10 on a Delica is pretty special though. Also, is this the first coated laminate blade?

It's pretty darn pricey, but I love this new Delica. Sad news for the ol bank account.

I do wish it had a lanyard hole tho.

Definitely unique but I just can’t get past that price tag... I think the DLC blade would look sweet with black G10, or a satin blade would look better with the red G-10.. but no matter the combination, I personally wouldn’t be willing to pay ~$200...

I'm really liking that red g10, DLC blade, and black hardware. The price does seem high for what it is but I may just have to suck it up and get one. Gonna think on it...

If I hadn't just bought a new knife like yesterday, I'd have probably picked that up. Very nice.

I hear that! Pretty steep for an impulse buy, but wow, I really dig it.
The weight is listed at 2.5 oz., it's go to be heavier than that tho, i would think.

Different G10 Delica was listed over 3oz. Pakkawood is 3oz.

Oh heck...I've thought about it long enough....I'm in! I've wanted a G10 Delica for awhile now. This color combination is a no brainer for me! I've got enough great deals over the past couple years. I guess I'll pay a premium for one I really like. At least that's how I'm gonna justify this. :)

But this is a seriously cool version of the Delica and I know if it sells out and i missed it i will be sad...

I keep looking at the page. Dang that looks good. And G-10 too. I keep telling myself all the reasons I should pass (rex45 on preorder, I already have 4 Hap 40 knives: delica, wharndelica, dfly, pakkawood dfly... but red g10 and dlc....), my will is draining fast. Gonna sleep on it. Hopefully it will be sold out by the time I wake up so I can stop agonizing over it. Lulz hard enough to pass on the dlc m4 para, this too? You're killing me this week Sal :D

I know ive said Im never buying another laminated blade, but the DLC coating may help me get over my OCD about them. This one was too good looking to pass up. The red with black looks killer. I went ahead and grabbed one. Price is way too high but this has too much going for it to not get one. Cant wait to get it!

I was wondering the same. I sent them a message asking them to confirm that the blade coating is actually DLC and not the TiCN that's normally used on Spyderco's Japanese models.

Considering the price I'll be disappointed to learn that the coating is actually TiCN.

The product description says "DLC Coated HAP40/SUS410." I would hope that they are not miss-representing the coating
