Sal did you make an Orange Handle Military?

#1

Post by NCBlades »

I saw an ad on Ebay last week and just have to know if this knife is for real. It is a Spyderco Military with orange handles. I posted a question for Sal on Bladeforums but got no reply. I guess he is pretty busy. Does anyone know anything about the knife? It is listed on Ebay under Rare Spyderco Military (i think). It starts off at $500. What do you think?

NCB-
I emailed the seller and asked to inspect this knife. It is being offered by a pawn shop in Denver, Co. I have not received a response from them. Caveat Emptor!!!

We made a few prototypes. I don't think any were actually sold. But sometimes they "grow legs".

NCB,
I did hear back from the pawn shop who is auctioning it on eBay. It isn't far away from me and I'll try to see it in person in the next day or two. I'll keep you posted.

Hi Red. Actually it was supposed to be a red G10. But is was an early colored G10 and had an orange cast to it.
