I wish they would no a non coated version. I'd have one in a second.

I may still get one...

Someone out there has swapped the CF scales onto a black blade and made what you're wanting.

Yes, the S90V CF is too hard to get ahold of at a reasonable price. I'll just bite the bullet and get one of these.

What I mean is, they would end up with a satin blade and brown handle, and if you ask around you may be able to buy one. I know someone here even posted a pic of that combo but I forget who. Might even be in this thread somewhere.

Ah, I see. I'll dredge through here this weekend and find out who it may be.

Thanks for the tip ;)

I think it was a different thread that showed pics of all the blade and handle combinations. I'm still stuck on my black & tan -- it's even got me liking my original black G-10 S30V more. The Yo 2 is a great EDC. By the way, a couple of people have complained that they sometimes miss on the first try opening it. I've found that for me the middle finger flip out is !00% reliable with either hand .
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

Someone really should do DLC with CF, it just goes together so well.

^This swap really fits the Yojimbo well. I am anticipating the black dlc on cf combo not really drawing too much attention in EDC applications either. In my experience people get more nervous with the warnie ("straight blade") shape as opposed to something with a more traditional profile. I cannot carry the Yo2 into the Denver Public Works building but can carry a Para 3 due to that distinction in blade shape.
