Well, 2017 is more than half over and still nothing that might give any glimmer of hope that we'll see an FRN Chaparral this year.

Old thread but thought I'd give it a bump to ask if there's any word on the next Chaparral?

It's a pretty new model. What do you mean by next?

I do think they should. So long as it's under about $180 I'd love to see a new handle material. Even if it's more I'd like to see it but probably couldn't buy it.

We're working on 3 possible Chaparral's. 2 new materials and one upgrade of a current material. Testing protos.

Thanks for the update Sal.
I wonder what the upgraded current material is...maybe carbon fiber.

I bet some additional FRN color options would make some people happy. Though I really like the gray.

FRN color options are always there. We'll see what the market (you) request?

I say keep up with the cool handle materials, but if you're taking requests for frn colors, may I throw in OD green or foliage green with or without a dlc blade? A blood orange or honeydew would be nice colors as well.

I could definitely get behind a foliage green with a non-DLC/satin blade.

I also still think the chaparral would look downright gorgeous in some blue or red nishijin.
