Hi everyone, what a great group of shots last week! It wasn’t an easy choice but I have to go with Bloke with his serrated Dfly shot - it’s just so trippy! :D

This week’s runner-up is abbazaba with this clean shot of a blade-swapped Manix 2, one of the coolest versions I’ve ever seen!! :)

Just a crazy idea, but what say we throw a curveball i to the mix? The winner from any given week names a color, handle materials, blade steel or model to be the subject of the coming week's submissions. This helps add a layer of complexity to the game.

Any opinions about my suggestion?

I agree that it helps to add a bit of complexity, but thats not always a good thing. The idea of using a "theme" chosen by the winner each week was introduced at some point but never really caught on.
Participation is already kind of low, unfortunately. I don't think making it harder to enter each week will help to promote more people to submit their photos.

I don't want to say it's not worth trying though, because it definitely is. I just predict it will hinder willingness to participate.

I think the winner should choose a theme if they want, but with already low participation it might not help in getting more entries. Personally I really like having a theme.
