It was actually the fourth time I had the opportunity to buy one. Initially I thought I would pass on the REX 45 Sprint series, but I got curious about the steel and nobody seemed to be talking about its performance much, so I took the plunge. :)
Keep checking, they're still coming in at some dealers. :)

You will love that knife. It's amazing that they've lowered the price to $199 and still haven't sold out. It used to be $280 iirc. I feel very lucky to have gotten one. The build quality is phenomenal. I will keep this millie for life, possibly swapping in a different blade one day.
OK, my first post in this thread. I learned that National Knives still has the Military in 52100 (with carbon fiber) and after several days trying to forget about it, I had to do it. I have been using my PM2 in 52100 and I was able to get that so crazy sharp that it is a joy to use. All the better in a bigger blade I think. It should arrive sometime this week given holiday shipping frenzy, but that is fine. I got the shipping notice.
I have had a few and sold them, Never the Manix XL though and I have a feeling it is the proper form for the Manix. Please do let us know how you like it.

Just ordered a vtoku2 delica, spyderhawk salt sprint, tasman salt and ukpk drop point. I thought the vtoku2 delica where Long gone, but it was in stock at lamnia.
