Spyderco Citadel 83mm Black Blade
This is a knife that belongs to my boss. He decided to run it through a cheap carbide "V" style sharpener but the S30V still fought with it. :) Any way He said he would you sharpen this for me? SO I said Sure as I always carry my Golden stone with me. He said its filthy! I replied no worries I'll clean it up for you and then sharpen it. So he tossed it to me and I took it apart for a good cleaning and then carried it some after sharpening it up. Thought people might enjoy the pics I took while it was apart.
Spyderco engineering is truly a beautiful thing to work with. Simple and sturdy not over complicated at all. Hard use knife No Safe Queen here. One thing I noticed is the black coating on it is much better than the DLC found on most knives.

Sage5 CF Compression lock a very nice Slicer S30V blade.

Thanks for posting. The Citadel is a nice model. I had the chance to pick one up in Scottsdale a couple of years back and regret not doing so. Neat to see its guts.

A bit of a dark pic, but I’m carrying my pacific salt IWB today like I do most days. This is the knife that I received as a wedding gift from a good friend, so I like to use it more than most. This H1 is unbelievable!
