Well, regardless of what you think of people behind computer screens, I think many of us carry knives because we will "do anything" in certain circumstances.

IMO YMMV

+1 on all of that.

As for the person who took advantage of that individual's generosity, if it's the person I think it was, what makes it extra sad is that his claims of military service were most likely false.
That'll spin me up more then losing a knife. Retired Navy here and that's just foul across the board. Much respect for all of you that believe and have the kindness in you.

Take heart Kristi, you are doing a fine job.

Some of our best lessons are learned the hard way. :D

As I get older, the more that I believe that Karma truly exists. The person that accepted a donated knife under fraudulent
pretenses will have Karma to deal with at some time. Maybe not tomorrow and maybe not next week, but at some point, he
will have something unfortunate happen to him as a result. There is a flip side to that coin however, and that is- Karma works
both ways. The person who donated the knife did so out of kindness; and that is NEVER a bad thing. Karma will show up at some
point in his future and will repay that kindness in spades.

I have came to a similar conclusion. It seems to me a natural law, maybe (I hope) its an inherent trait in all of us.. I believe those who do these wrongs are in a way self harming, as regret and guilt are hard to suppress. Maybe they can sleep at night, with the help of alcohol/drugs etc but that then breeds destruction in itself.

For sure there are many kindhearted people here. I posted in a thread from back in 2011 when a few members here helped me locate a knife long since discontinued. Today I referenced that post again as the knife needed to be reordered 6 years later. Lol.

Thank you to all of you here for being so helpful and kind. ❤️

This place is awesome, what a great group of people. My only regret in 2018 so far is not joining the forums sooner.
I told her I was an ED pharmacist, first time I played the "I'm a Dr. Card" - she didn't realize I work as an ER specialist and thought I only sold erectile dysfunction medications.
