My 'Bro Stryder says he saw a Spyderco Remote Release with a tanto point out on E-Bay. He had planned on getting it for me as a b-day gift but missed the bid. Did Spyderco make such a thing?

Cool thing dude! If it ever exists... There's a new sheepsfoot snap it that'll be released next year! <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

No plans for a tanto Remote Release but Samo is right (hi Samo!), we do have the C26 Snap-It coming out with a sheepfoot blade for 2001.

Hi Zabrewolf. Spyderco never made such a model. The only Tanto we've made to date was the Lum folder.

Sal,
Thanks for the reply. Any idea what he may have been looking at then (if it was a Spyderco)?

Sal,
I thought most ELU did not like the Snapit because it interfered with cutting??
