Once upon a time there was supposed to be a new Solo with a button-released linerlock, and a pocket clip. Was this model ever produced? Any more info?

Hi Carlos. They are available at SFO.
Solo's are not currently available to dealers. We were not able to make sufficient quantities to supply dealers. There was also little dealer interest in the line.

Thanks Sal.
Will it eventually be added to the spyderco.com website?

BTW, about the Solo 5: Is it tip-up or tip-down?

Is there any chance of getting then Solo 5 up on the web site? I keep checking there but haven't been able to find it <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>.
