Hat pins/Tie tacks

#1

Post by stellite »

You folks were nice enough to give me a SpyderWrench hat pin at the Blade Show. Thanks! I know these types of items are promotional in nature (not designed to be sold), but I was wondering if I could purchase other models of your pins.

This goes along with the other thread about shirts, mugs, and decals. It's probably a pain for you to deal with, but on the other hand it is a indication of your fan/hard core customer base.

Keep up the good work; I am looking forward to the new models!

Stellite - Our Pin supplier has the authority to sell the Spyderco pins. I'll chase down his number.

I have been doing some research on this and I think I've come up with the makers address:
Empire Pewter Manufacturing
PO Box 15
Amsterdam, NY
1201
Phone 518-843-0048
The good news is that they will sell to the public. Pins are $5.95 plus shipping. The bad news is that their catalog only shows the following models:
Endura (black or red)
Civilian
Cricket
Snap-It (red)
I have seen the following models as pins:
SpyderWrench
Centofante
Military
Dyad
Native
These are not listed in Empire's catalog. If I have incorrect information or if the Spydie fans out there know of other models that have been made, then please let me know.
Thanks, Greg

Stellite, thanx for the research. My chase got lost in the shuffle. Those are the guys that made all of our pins. If they believed there was a market, I would guess they would make more. We've given them permission to sell all of the models they've made for us.
