I recently acquired a Pacific Salt SE in a trade and I am enjoying this knife. I really like the blade shape. So much so that I am now in pursuit of an all-black PE version.

I have yet to put H1 to a rigorous test but the SE version is certainly a fearsome cutter.

I also like that the serrations are shallow. I find shallow serrations much more durable and user-friendly, as opposed to those of the Para-Millie for example, which are too deep and pointed.

Mike, you're more of a steel geek then I am. I always thought the "AUS" on some blades meant "Made in Australia" :) .
