Used the wife’s account. I tried checking out as a guest first but it wouldn’t allow me to do that.

Any one know if there's a certain amount or % united outdoors with approve? I've done best offers with them and sometimes they'll allow $10 off, sometimes less than that... seems to depend on the price of the knife - thoughts?

I think the higher the price the more they'll take off with your offer. Last month they had the Gayle Bradley 2 for $155, I offered $140 and they accepted. Then a couple days ago they had a Salt 2 for $81, I offered $67 and they countered with $78. Ended up settling at $73. With both of these knives I was also able to use the 20% coupons as well.

From these examples, they seem to readily accept 90% offers.

If they have anything I'm interested in, I might offer 75% and hope they settle somewhere below 90%, but at least 90% is likely.

I was able to get 12.25% best offer on a Lil Native from the ebay seller (plus 20% off). I’ve had no luck with any percentages above that. 20% offer resulted in a decline from the seller.

An important question that I don't know the answer to is - when you use a coupon that works for only specific sellers, how much of that discount is covered by the seller vs eBay? By contrast, the $15 off $75 or the sitewide 15% or 20% off are covered solely by eBay.
Clearly if United Outdoors is paying a portion of the discount (which I believe they are), they aren't going to have as much flexibility with a best offer.

I couldn't let the 20% off ebay deal end last night without a final deal.

Blurple G10 S110V PM2 for $109.32 including best offer, 20% promo, and $100 ebay gift card for $90.

Well done BigGrove.

I just read a Bloomberg article about eBay struggling to compete.

From the CEO: “We’re going to invest more in marketing in the second half than we ever have,” Wenig said. “We’re going to spend a lot of money to bring new buyers on to the platform.”

Let the deals continue!!!

No shipping cost
No inventory cost
No warehousing cost
27000 employees compared to Amazons 308000.....I'm surprised they're still afloat. (sarcasm) lol

Here's hoping for another 20% off site-wide. If I recall correctly the last one was good for up to $100 discount ($500 total in cart).

Tired of shopping one seller though with the recent coupons. They were very sluggish/stingy with best offers durning the last promo. Am I wrong or is it the same seller with 2 or 3 storefronts?
