Gave the Campsaver deal a spin with the Brouwer preorder. Would have done the same with a Smock, but I’ve had a long-standing pre-order in place for that already.

Thanks to Campsaver I just ordered a burled G10 Manix 2 for $127 after tax. S90V, G10, and a limited run for only $127 shipped. Thanks a bunch for this code information you guys! I was tempted to pay $162 wherever I could before they were all gone, but couldn’t justify it with all the para 3 and paramilitary 2 exclusives being released.
I probably will need to say bye bye to my LW model in order to keep my wife and wallet happy, but I will look forward to another knife with BD-1 in the future.

Yeah, they’re only asking $150 for it, which is already less than anywhere else I’ve seen it :) then you get to take 20% off.
S90v is hard to beat, too.

I just received notice that ebay is offering 8% ebay bucks on purchases over $25 thru August 18.
Did you receive an email/notification in you messages from eBay. I can find now sign of this?

Yes. It looks like it was a targeted email.

+1 on the Kapara - paying up front pre-order makes me nervous, but too good a deal to pass up. Fingers crossed they get them in stock at the same time as other vendors and no weird preorder issues!

I want to pre order the Kapara, but I think I'm going to buy the s90v Yo2 instead.

Will be interested to see some feedback on Campsaver. There are a lot of awful reviews on them online.

I've had 2 bad experiences with them myself. Both them canceling orders on me where their inventory system showed in stock and allowed me to complete the order.

Not sure having an order cancelled qualifies as a bad experience. Inventory errors aren't uncommon.

One of the well-known reputable dealers cancelled my PM2 Rex order due to overselling. It happens. They refunded my money and I moved on. No big deal.

It matters when ordering gear for a big trip that's needed by a deadline.

I understand what your saying, it's frustrating. Frankly if it was that important, I would have checked with the retailer first before ordering or purchased from a retailer that I've done business before. Just saying you could have done your part to minimize your risk.

The Smock is one of the remaining drops I have interest in. Put in an order with Campsaver, the 20% is too good to pass up.

It's alright it helped me find backcountry.com who has been outstanding. Everytime I place an order they call before it's shipped to ensure it's what I need and see if I need anything else and give me a reps personal number to handle any issues.
