Jot Warrenty Q for Spyderco Support

#1

Post by afee »

My user name is Afee, and I'm a regular over at BF. I was directed here when the following received little to no respoce over there:

http://www.bladeforums.com/ubb/Forum52/HTML/000654.html

Should be of interest to the user-collector, and any one looking to buy older models. If spyderco could address any of my concerns, I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks guys (in the gender neutral sence), E

I referred Afee over here, can anyone help him out? Joyce, Vince?

The guy's locking mechanism on his Kahlsa failed. Like mine did.

He received it back from customer service with a note that said it was abused and not covered under warranty. Like the note I got.

He disagrees. As do I.

Hi. Found the thread on the bladeforums Spyderco forum. Am looking into the problem now. Spoke with Beth & Mike (good people). We'll figure something out. We don't make the model any more and there are no parts available. repairs become impossible.

We'll get back to you.
