My old standard is slowing down

Since it's retirement, to my nightstand it has gotten hard to open. Does any one have thoughts on what kind of lube I can use on it or a way to clean up the action.

Put a few drops of tufglide on it. This should make it alot easier to open. I use it on all my Spydies to keep them in tip top shape.

White Lightening works well too. Check your local knife shop or 1stopknifeshop advertises TufGlide and White Lightening on all their knife pages.

Dab some White Lightning on your spydie's joint! It'll do wonders! <img src="wink.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Hi USP40. I would suggest that you first wash it in hot soapy water, dry, then apply lube. the knife shouldn't get harder to open unless it's gummed up of there is a burr or something hindering the blade.
