Gunting Articles

#1

Post by sks »

Does anyone have a list of articles featuring the gunting? I have the TK article by Mike Janich and the Shotgun news article by Mas Ayoob.

I believe there is a short mention in a Guns & Weapons for Law Enforcement. (not sure of the issue, but looking)

Has anyone seen any other articles? Could you post the info here with the publication titles & issue numbers? I'm starting a collectiion. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

Thanks,

Howdy,

No dates yet but I believe they are working on an article that will include the Gunting in Police Magazine. It will be popping up in various publications in the future.

Many publications that are not martial arts, military or law enforcement related will be slow to come around the the idea of MBC (and the Gunting in particular since it's so specialized). It's my opinion that they will once they have more information and understanding. Right now with Brams' and all of your help, that is what we are trying to do here at Spyderco.

Pass the word brother!!!

Anybody out there read Italian? Nice coverage of the Gunting (and a picture of Bram Gunting the Italian media)in the newest issue of the Italian Knife Magazine called Lame d'autore. I'll send a photocopy of the article to anyone who can translate it?!

Joyce,

I'm doing Bram's web site. I have a couple other articles in other languages that I'm having translated to english. I don't have the one you are refering to. Can you email me scans of the article so that I can put it up on the web. I'll get it translated.

Thanks,

Jeremy

Greg wrote one for Jim keatings MODERN KNIVES..
I think this is the way to get to it..
http://maajak6.homestead.com/maajak6~ns4.html

if I'm wrong maybe Greg or SKS can point us there..

actually Joyce is the keeper of the knowledge... without her its not out there..She attracts the editors & writers like moths to a flame..and then she lights their fire with new SPYDERCO data and off they go..
and it appears on print right after that..

THANKS Joyce!!!
