any Spydie Autos?

#1

Post by Onehandclapping »

Hello,

I'm handicapped, and normally carry an auto opening folding knife. These are the type of knife I find easiest to open. Now, the Spyderco hole does help a little, but if you saw what I have to use as hands, you'd understand why I prefer an auto. Has Spyderxo ever made an auto opening version of ANY of their knives? I like the feel and the high quality of these knives but I'd like one I could open. Thanks for the information.

Scott - No, we don't make autos or semi-autos. We still believe they are illegal (regardless of the arguments). We also found they are difficult to control. With a
Spyderco opening hole, one can control the blade. Stop the opening and reclose. Open at different speeds, etc.
