Some have more teeth (Delicas that is) Question?

Just got my replacement Delica II from Golden. Tight, perfect, love it. Thanks to all for the product and service.

Question: Delica 98 has 5 big serrations and 5 sets of smaller ones. Delica II has 5 big serrations but only 4 sets of smaller ones, resulting in a stubbier blade. WHY?

RLR. Spyderco is always making minor changes and improvements to our models. One of the current changes is to end the serration with a large serration at the tip. Another is leaving a little more plain edge at the tip to add strength. The differences could be where in the "evolution" you particular model was when built.

Thanks for the info... it just caught my eye right away. Must make for a stronger tip.
