Guys and gals on the fence about this one:

I was one of you but a mere few hours ago. Ever since the announcement and first photoshop pics were published I wasn't stoked at all on this knife. About the only things going for it in my mind: It's a PM2 and gray G10. Definitely dont need anymore S90V in my rotatio,n and thought the web inlays looked cheesy as heck.

Then I saw it in person:

Changing the Spyder web to satin/chrome instead of white as first shown makes the inlays fit the knife instead of sticking out like a sore thumb.

After holding it I came to the realization that mine will never be carried and used, so who cares if its S90V?
The gray G10 appears to be the exact same shade as used in the CPM CRUWEAR PM2 sprint from a few years back. In the comparison that one is a hair darker from carry.

It truly was bumming me out that I was a possible pass on this one, but I couldn't be happier with the final specimen that left with me. It really represents this company, community, ideology, knife model, and forum so well. If you are still on the fence: Fear not, we have yet another homerun from Golden.

What are the inlays made of? The web? The red Spyder? The black filling in the web?

I'll let spyderco field that one so I am not spreading misinformation if wrong.

Took 'em 15 years, but Spyderco finally found a way to get me to buy a Paramilitary. :D Mine is on the way, UPS says it should arrive next Friday.

It's amazing to me that you have watched almost 40 PM/PM2 variants go by without ever pulling the trigger on one until now.

He was too busy pulling the trigger on kiwis kopas and stretches! A trigger finger can stay plenty busy without the PM2.
