Spyderco Counterfeits, Clones, Replicas, etc. A place to list and reference all Spyderco counterfeits, clones, and replicas that are found. Anything that isn't a legitimate Spyderco fits in this area.
if you take all 4 levels of mbc classes, in the spyderco brochure, it says you receive a trainer AND a live blade, is that always the case or varies by location?
I bet there are a lot more non-Spyderco knives sharpened on a Sharpmaker than there are Spyderco knives not sharpened on a Sharpmaker. Who here uses charged strops, an EdgePro, or other equipment on their Spyderco knives?
After reading through other posts, here, I went searching for dimensions on the Yojimbo blade-- specifically, thickness. I can't remember the site, but somewhere I read 5/32 inch--thicker than the Ronin. This doesn't sound right, but I've no other info....
Not bad though just annoying. Was closing one of my civies with 2 hands, when somehow the tip went into the end of my right index finger. The cut on my finger is only 5-6mm across which means that it went in about 10mm. Bled pretty good, soaked through...
I have a Spyder I picked up from a discount bin in say? 98. The seller told me it was discounted because the design was not very popular and it was discontinued. I needed a fine pocketknife, so I jumped at the chance to snap up a Spyder for a great price....
Over at that bladeforums place, a person posted that the Dodo's ball-bearing lock was MBC-rated. Was the poster incorrect? With 2 and 1/6 , it looks like an easy enough blade to provide an MBC-rated lock (this said without experience).
I recently recieved a Santa Fe Pearl Kiwi thanx to an earlier post here on this forum and it sure is nice. I really enjoy a fine Gentlemen's Folder and would like to see Spyderco do a lot more with exotic and bone handles.
This year the NRA Consumer Show and Convention is in Pittsburgh April 16-18th at the Lawrence Convention Center. Spyderco has reserved booth space and Janet Lewis and I will be manning or 'womanning' it. If you are planning on attending stop by,...
my blade has some spotched discoloration near the spine and edge grind near the tip. I also have this weird dotted wave along the blade that you can see if you tilt it in the light. what's up wit dat?
would anyone happen to have the link to the website with the rare/hard to find spyderco knives. its the one with the q knife in the water placed on a rock. i saw it the other day and just cant seem to find it. thank you.
i love them. i've got lots of knives from several companies that see time in my pockets. there are other knife companies making great knives but in my experience, none of them are in the same league as far as blade innovation....
I'd like to thank everyone who participated in this weekend's MBC Level 1 and 2 and Martial Stick Craft classes in Grove City, Ohio. As always, we attracted a super group of people that was truly motivated to practice and learn. And, as always, we covered...
Can a new forum section be started for the political BS postings that have been added to this forum? Maybe it is just me, but I come here to read about knives, not to have the board overwhelmed with political rants.
I would like to use the Spyderco Spyder as part of an engraving job I'm having done to a SS Native. It is a gift for my son, his 3D initials are going to be caught up in a web which completes the design.
OK decided to switch my C-15 over to tip up so I can use a lanyard. One problem, I don't know how tight to put the screws. The three of them on the clip just go into the G-10 and I am leary about making them too tight. Where I had them yesterday was good,...
I first saw a spyderco in the hand of Jean-Claude Van Damme in Sudden Death and I wanted to buy one right away. I've always been interested in knives more than the average guy. When I moved to Montreal, I saw one for sale in some store and bought it on...
I'm looking for a good edc folder that could also work as a good hard work camp knife. The chinook looks like the sturdiest work knife and the native 3-D looks like a very appealing edc, and I was wondering which would be the best choice. Thanks.
I'm sure it would be cheaper for many of us to buy a SpyderFly Trainer then to shell out cash for Band-Aids and Insurance Co-Pays for doctor's visits. We can't all be like Fred Perrin right off the bat.
Will design and maintain websites for knifemakers, collectors and suppliers. Mature design. Reliable architecture. Reasonable prices. Barter is possible. Get prepared for the next knifemaking show!
I posted a question about the handle damage to my new Chinook 1 on the forum a while back. The knife was taken by a rep for the importer of spyderco to South Africa about a month ago, its been seen by the Technician in...
I realize that this is an international forum, so there may not be much interest in this topic outside of the States, but are there any College Basketball fans out there?
