Hi Sal, My navaja is still working fine, and the carraca is a nice gadget on this knife. I must say that the fit and finnish is superb on this knife from Taiwan, it's a great design from Ed. For me it's not a big problem when the spring would fail, because it would be very costly to ship this knife ...

I just got mine yesterday, and it is my sixth Ed Schempp design.
This one is superb in fit and finnish and i like the knives which are made in taiwan, they are outstanding in their quality.
