Re: Burnt Orange Rex 45 para 3

planning to get it in the military, though.

I do not own a para 3. I would get the 52100/CF, but not a fan of the price.

Good timing! The PM2's were really tough. You may have bought one of the last ones! Gone for now as of 12:13 pst.
That was a good run!
Good! I don't need to be tempted right now.

Can I request that we not post in this thread asking for updates? Every time I receive an email I get my hopes up that it is finally time.
My preference would be to only post if you have an update or notice for everyone.

Re: HAP 72 or CPM REX 121 Spydie

I just would like the next Japanese steel to not be laminated. I prefer a solid blade (for no real good reason aside that I dont like the looks of lamination lines and scratched cladding...I never had any issues performance-wise). So not sure what the options are for that. They did Superblue in bot...

Speed is usually a novelty for me. However, a couple months back when a stray dog was readying to attack my toddler and I, I was glad the GB1 can fly open!

I'm so glad a bigger version is planned. 4 1/4" rust proof blade sounds dreamy. Been keeping an eye on this thread to see what you guys think of the smaller version.
This is the smaller version? Somehow I missed that. when is the larger one due?

Re: Help me decide on a Salt

I'd say Saver Salt, as the ergos are far better for me than the Delica style handle and wharnies really work well with serrations. It's also a model that for some reason doesn't get much love but it's a fantastic knife. Somehow I overlooked the choil on the saver salt. I have been waiting anxiously...

Re: Do you ever wish you only had 1 knife?

I know exactly where you're coming from. Growing up I always had the same swiss army knife on me (Classic at first, then a camper). My grandfather always had the same slipjoint. With everything else - my flashlight, keys, wallet, etc. I make a point to use the same items day to day. If I could trad...

Re: Do you ever wish you only had 1 knife?

Definitely not. Granted, out of my 500+ knives there are probably less than 50 that I "have a relationship with" but there are at least a couple dozen I consider "good friends". Not to mention that, as much as I enjoy doing food prep with my "mini santoku" that started...

Re: Do you ever wish you only had 1 knife?

I think you could definitely carry the same knife everyday - for me that would likely be a caly - then grab other knifes for specific tasks as the need arises.

well, it definitely should be labeled. but if it truly isn't, 30 degrees will look more vertical with the stones in; 40 degrees will be flatter.
