The stretch has a different edge shape than the pm2. The stretch's edge is straight until the last third or so when it becomes a fairly pronounced belly.
A pm2 edge is almost the other way, maybe an inch by the choil is straight, and the rest of your edge is curving into a slight belly.

Anyone from or moved to Alaska?
I've been kicking this idea of trying to move out there around. Maybe this isn't the best place to ask, but I like the community here so maybe someone has answers. If you're from or have moved there, what are the actual struggles? Regrets? Little annoyances that make life difficult? What makes you w...

Hap40 vs zdp189 vs k390
I'm considering picking up an endura in hap40, but already have a police in k390 and haven't tried zdp at all. So I ask: If you have or had both, is the endura too close to the police that you find them to essentially overlap? And how do the steels compare in use or in theory? (Meaning in theory one...

Anyone prefer manual seats in a car?
Power seats annoy me. I'm in a place where leaning the seat back and taking a nap is not out of the question. Now I have a car with power seats and it's push the button and......wait.... Time to go? Push the button...and...wait... Silly topic and more just a random complaint than anything but still....

So the sage 5 lw is in the works. What do you suppose would be next for the project? Stop lock? Q ball? Some kind of button? Slipjoint??

Kind of curious, what methods of brewing does everyone prefer? I use a little glass pour over one mostly but I really want to try a siphon. Mostly because it looks neat.

Re: Why does tooling get destroyed?
It's all about eliminating waste. Tools, molds, dies, etc for a discontinued product aren't producing any value. Even if it doesn't take up much space, that's still space that could be used for something that is adding value.

Bbs pm2. I think I'm too attached to the blue and that if I part with it it'd be difficult to get another.

See if I did the photo right, but if not Ace Biblio with green micarta! New to me so still deciding how I feel on it. Do like having the jimping in the middle of the blade but also kind of wish it was continuous to there.

How many wharnecliffe spydies have there been?
The question came up elsewhere, and thought I'd ask here. I could think of these.
Yojimbo, ronin, dragonfly, delica, endura, salt 2, McBee, equilibrium, gb air, urban, centofante, spydiecard, dogtag folder, swick, and q ball.
More than I realized, but what are the others?

Benchmade/worksharp edge maintenance tool
Thoughts? I like the idea of a light system with some kind of angle helper, the strop, clip and plastic casing (should keep the stone in one piece) are just a bonus. That said, I'm still deciding if I'd actually want to carry it much.

What I'm curious about now is if there will be more m390s out of seki now, depending on how much steel had to be purchased to make it worth it.

Re: Why Doesn't Spyderco Use the Military Handle More?
For me the egg shape in the middle of the handle is what makes it. The military has the best feeling handle of any folder I've picked up. The runner up for me is actually the sliverax. The pm2 has a similar shape of course but it feels crowded for my hand. I'd think a different blade shape in the sa...
