Re: G-10 Hawkbill Anyone?
I'm always interested. Well Zrow over the years it seems like you and I have had similar tastes in most Spyderco models it seems. I personally would like to see the Harpy and Spyderhawk both offered with G-10 handles. I think if they had either of those models available in G-10 handles that profess...

Re: G-10 Hawkbill Anyone?
Let's just bring the S.P.O.T. back. Well let me see if I can remember this one correctly>> because I don't really recall the SPOT model being labeled a classic Hawkbill in the Spyderco line up. I did own 2 of them at one time. And the one SPOT model that I did use and kind of liked was the G-10 han...

G-10 Hawkbill Anyone?
With the old Harpy thread being rekindled I got to thinking about a subject I've suggested in the past couple of years. And that is to consider one of Spyderco's finer Hawkbill models with a G-10 handle. I've said a few times previously that a Spyderhawk and/or a Harpy with a G-10 handle would draw ...

Re: Harpy
I challenge all of you to try a Harpy as a companion blade to your main EDC folder. The G-10 Harpy is truly a near perfect companion SE folder.
Doctor Lecter I also wish you would come back to Spyderville and help us with this revived thread. Long Live the HARPY!!

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
Trying to decide on a new fave team. Probably be whoever hires Bill Belichick....if he gets hired. If not, and that coupled with the streaming pay per view Playoff Games - I may be done for good. I don't wanna be but, there's absolutely no doubt, that more and more and more Playoff games will be pa...

Re: Your Favorite Slysz Design And Why
I would say that the Spyderco Slysz Bowie is the big one of his that I've never been able to snag. A really good collaborator for Spyderco to be sure.

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
Giants and Patriots are so terrible that they couldn't combine their rosters, take the best players from all positions and form a team between the two of them and they STILL wouldn't make the playoffs! With all that being said it just doesn't make any sense that the Giants would let Saquon Barkley ...

Re: Harpy
I know this is resurrecting an old thread A 23 year old thread . Wow, how has this forum been going this long? This thread is even before my time here in the Forum ( Sept 2004). But the timing may be excellent because this is a great time to bring up the possibility of bringing back the G-10 Harpy....

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
Screw Philly and Saquon! Overrated and injury prone anyways. I know, right? Not like it's some huge loss 😆 Well it looks as though your Steelers will be having Russell Wilson this next season as QB. But that team needs a lot more repair overall. And they haven't really done that good in the DRAFT f...

Re: Steels and spyderedge
When it comes to serrations I still believe that Spyderco is King. But I tend to have differing viewpoints when it comes to the blade steels which are ideal for full SE blades. Over the years I've personally discovered that many of the blade steels that perform well in full SE are for the most part ...

Re: Cold Steel Talk
Say Vivi you mentioned a few of the models that were even in the main line up all the way back to Cold Steel's "Carbon V" era. I can't help but bring up the really cool Gurkha Kukri models from that era. The Gurkha Kukri models from that era hold a special place in my blade loving heart. I...

Re: Spyderco hunting folder
On the last two deer hunts I've been on I've had my trusty M390 MILITARY model with me. And I've never been disappointed using that model as a hunter/folder. But it's not the only Spyderco folder proven to be a great "hunter/folder". A few years back I had the privilege of using one of my ...

Re: What did you use your Spyderco for last?
Well Yesterday I decided to EDC one of my all time favorite Spyderco folders>> I'm speaking of the sacred, hallowed full SE C-60 Cruwear Ayoob. And with several taped up boxes placed in front of me I made super quick work of them with the full SE Cruwear Ayoob and many thanks to Spyder-Brother "...

Happy Birthday "Mark Greenman"
My good Spyder-Brother Mark Greenman is celebrating another year here on Planet Earth. Yep!! it's his Birthday today and I do wish that all of you Spyder-Brethren would wish him nothing but good on his Birthday. He's also a huge fan of the C-60 Ayoob model which is a special group of Brethren needle...

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
I dunno Joe. You got a healthy Patty Mahomes - you got a legitimate shot at another Super Bowl. And, KC does such a good job at drafting and trading. I wouldn't worry too much, Joe. OTOH, I'm worryin my *** off. They say Tomlin really likes Justin Fields. If the Steelers wind up with him, I'm done ...

Hahahaha!! This one's awesome! 😎 https://i.postimg.cc/hv2fsRQb/Screenshot-20240214-200819-Facebook.jpg Well this is going to be a rather miserable OFF SEASON for the Chiefs. First off they have serious contract issues with L'Jarius Sneed and Chris Jones. The Chiefs can ill-afford to lose either one...

Re: NFL 2023-2024 Season
Welp, I never thought I would see the day that I would actually seriously consider not watching the N.F.L. anymore but, sadly (for me anyways) that day has come. Not to mention what Nick said but, also the pimping out not only the Thursday Night Game but, now the Playoff Games? Then to add insult t...

Re: Super Bowl LVIII Commercials
I've watched Superbowl commercials since the day Lenny Dawson and the KC Chiefs beat the Minnesota Vikings in Superbowl 4. And over the years I've seen quite a few of them I thought were really humorous. I've also seen many SB Commercials that I thought were truly a "Work Of Art". But in t...
