I finally broke down and pickup up a Tiger Coral Kopa. Although the length is similar to a Kiwi, it is not nearly as compact as a Kiwi. Fit and finish is pretty good, especially where the Coral meets the bolsters - this is an area where makers often fail. I think I might carry a black micarta Kopa, ...

I just ordered one of the Seamaster knives today, as I have been waiting around for the Yachtsman to appear for about 6 years. The Seamaster will have to tide me over until Spyderco coughs out their Sailor knife. When I can get around to it, I will post a review of the Russell knife. All sounds good...

The CF is peel-ply, grippy, not shiny. Some may not like it for that reason. It is not the same as the Shiny CF pieces we've done in the past. sal I am glad to see Spyderco finally produce a carbon fiber piece that isn't cut/finished with a water jet process. A matte CF is fine but even a wheel-pol...

I agree with samo, the initial run of Worker's with the thin scales and square edges is still a great design. The other Spyder that I will never let go of is my Jess Horn C27 with the bone handle. I love the blade shape, and the milled opener was another great achievement as one of the very nicest d...

Purely a matter of individual taste on the Carbon Fiber. The way that Spyderco (and Klotzli) finish their CF, it has a glassy sheen on the surface. It is a problem (IMO) because it shows scratches very easily (compared to a matte finish CF) and where it is drilled for screw, pivot and lanyard holes,...

Hey, I saw those on KC yesterday and ordered the pearl Kiwi straight away. Funny thing about the price, when I first got a Kiwi (right when Spyderco first released them), I called Santa Fe Stoneworks and they wanted $200 to do the exact design that knifecenter is now selling. And that was on top of ...

WH makes excellent knives. They have very high tolerances and super quality finishes. They make knives for which there really are no comparable Spyderco designs(at least at this time)and definitely not comparable in terms of materials used for the handles. Shop around, there are many places to buy W...
