The edge is not "sharp" in the conventional sense. It has no secondary bevel. The primary (false) bevel does not fully "meet" at the edge. It is not a "zero grind" bevel.

I know for certain about that particular knife because it was my listing.

Make the new one linerless with an integral ti compression lock ala the Salsa. Deepen the carry point on the clip and I too will be a happy camper.

Purely a matter of individual taste on the Carbon Fiber. The way that Spyderco (and Klotzli) finish their CF, it has a glassy sheen on the surface. Weekdays my rotation is: a Chris Reeve Mammoth Ivory Mnandi, William Henry Westcliff (pearl) and a Bob Lum Mini Stalker.
Weekends: Usually a Tom Mayo TNT Wharncliff or a Klotzli Sailor.

Salt 1 = large opening hole, well-placed, agressive thumb serrations, sheepsfooty-type place shape.
